“How much time do you actually end up devoting to a case? Let’s say, at the beginning, the middle, the end? Is there a part of the case where you spend a lot more time?”
Spencer Freeman – Personal Injury Attorney – Pierce County, WA
“I think there’s a significant amount of time at the beginning of the case. Getting to know the client, getting to know the issues, and setting up what tasks are going to be done to get the case processed correctly. Then, when they’re done treating, and you’re looking at putting a demand package together for, hopefully, a settlement, there’s quite a bit of time spent on a case. For me, once the case goes into litigation, those times are going to be dictated by a case schedule set by the court, and actions that we choose. You asked before…’how do you know the case is important to me’, I will tell you that the harder I push the case, the better resolution I get. And the better resolution we get is good for me and it’s good for the client.”
