Ray Hrdlicka – Host – Attorneys.Media
“Has that been a trend? That’s been increasing over time because of social media? You know, where people can find out more about other people?”
Regina Tsombanakis– Criminal Defense Attorney – Broward County, FL
“Yes. Use their social media to stalk or hound other people. They can create fake profiles, very easy, anything, and just post anything bad you want about the other person. I have had cases where a female is dating this guy, and his ex-girlfriend is just bonkers about this, and she’s just harassing her. But the profile is somebody different. You can’t get them stopped because… she knows it’s her, but on its face, it’s just somebody else. It just opens up so many ways for these people to actually invade your privacy and invade your life and find your information out. Where are you? Where you’re at? What you’re doing? Where do you play golf? Where do you work out? What restaurants do you like?”
