Let’s start, jump right in and let’s talk about the bail bond process. Can you give us a definition…a little bit of what is the bail bond process? Take us through, you know, step by step so people can understand what they’re going to go through.

Sure. When someone is arrested by law enforcement, they’re taken to jail and in most cases given an…a bailable offense, their options are either to put that full bail amount up to the jail, which they would get that money back after they make all their court appearances.

Most people don’t have that available, so they go through bail bondsmen. We charge a percentage of the full bond and the collateral that we take in most cases is just a friend or family member’s signature.

We put up that bond and take the percentage as the bail premium. That’s what we charge.

And then they’re able to make their court appearances out of custody instead of sitting in jail waiting for trial.
