What happens, you know, when I read articles in the paper…what happens when somebody gets arrested and the bond is really high? And then the article says that later on…the bail was reduced.

The bail was what?

Reduced. Lowered. So, what happens, I mean, I guess, I would suspect that somebody, people call you and the bail is too high, do you continue working with them to try to get the bail lowered or something?

Yes, so if you’re just arrested and your bond’s a million dollars, say, really high. You have the chance of the bail getting lowered when you go to court. So, a lot of times at the arraignment court, they won’t address the bail, they’ll schedule another bail hearing for hours after, because they don’t have all the information there that’s usually needed to decide if the bail should be lowered or not.
So, that’s possibly a risk for not bailing out, that they could raise the bail or decide to put a no bail on the charge.
